Feeding process
1. Order of feeding: from long to short, from coarse to fine, from dry to wet.
2. Feeding Location: To ensure better uniformity and consistency of the formula, pay attention to the following: 1. Water Addition Location: Add water to the center of the mixing tank. Adding water too slowly will affect the quality of the mixed feed; after 3 minutes, the feed quality will decrease. Add water as quickly as possible to maximize water coverage. 2. When adding raw materials, add them to the center of the tank.
3. Mixing Capacity After Feeding:
Do not add too much feed, as this will increase mixing time and cause some feed to overflow, reducing accuracy and affecting palatability for cattle.
The amount of feed added should be no less than half of the actual capacity, ideally covering the top of the auger. Recommendation: Generally, the feed amount should be 60-90%, with optimal mixing effect at 80% of the TMR capacity.

1. Mixing Time:
If the mixing time is too long, the roughage in the TMR will be mixed too finely, damaging the fiber structure and resulting in more powdery feed, which affects rumen health. Additionally, feed stratification will occur, leading to a higher coefficient of variation and a lower yield.
If the mixing time is too short, uneven mixing will result in nutritional imbalances, also affecting feeding performance.
Generally, a total mixing time of approximately 20 minutes and a general mixing time of approximately 10 minutes are recommended.
2. Blades:
Material: All cutting blades are made of a special alloy through heat treatment and a tungsten carbide coating, resulting in high hardness and excellent wear resistance for more efficient cutting.
Quantity: Too many or too few blades will affect the cutting effect. Too many blades will not help mixing and will instead hinder the flow of forage.
Blade Cutting Effect: Under the same rotation speed and time, the cutting effect is greatly related to the sharpness of the blades. If the blades are not sharp, long forage will not be torn or cut effectively, affecting palatability for cattle and thus reducing farm productivity. The number of blades can be adjusted according to customer needs to meet their specific requirements.
